THE RIG PROVIDES EXPERT ASSISTANCE TO LOCAL LAW ENFORCEMENT AGENCIES ON MAJOR CRIMESTHE RETIRED INVESTIGATORS GUILD IS A REGISTERED 501(C)(3) NON-PROFIT CORPORATION COMPRISED OF FORMER AND RETIRED CRIMINAL INVESTIGATORS FROM LOCAL, STATE, AND FEDERAL LAW ENFORCEMENT AGENCIES THROUGHOUT THE UNITED STATES. RIG INVESTIGATORS ARE VOLUNTEERS RECRUITED AFTER A CAREFUL REVIEW OF THEIR CAREER ACCOMPLISHMENTS. EACH INDIVIDUAL INVITED TO BECOME A PART OF THE RIG HAS DEMONSTRATED, OVER A PERIOD OF MANY YEARS, THAT THEY REPRESENT THE ABSOLUTE BEST OF THE BEST IN THEIR ABILITY TO INVESTIGATE HOMICIDES, COLD CASES, AND RELATED MAJOR CRIMES.

PROVIDED ASSISTANCE TO LOCAL ORGANIZATION LOCATING AND RECOVERING KIDNAPPED YOUTHS WHO WERE BEING TRAFFICKED AND ABUSED.


THROUGH PUBLIC DONATIONS, ESTABLISHED AND FUNDED SCHOLARSHIP WITH THE UNIVERSITY OF NEVADA IN RENO, NEVADA, FOR UNDERPRIVILEGED STUDENTS PURSUING CAREERS IN LAW ENFORCEMENT.


IN ORDER TO PERFORM ITS PROGRAM SERVICES THE ORGANIZATION CONTINUES TO DILIGENTLY PURSUE DONATIONS, GRANTS AND FUNDING OPPORTUNITIES TO COVER CASH NEEDS, AND MAINTAIN CONTACT WITH THE LOCAL, STATE, AND FEDERAL AGENCIES THEY SUPPORT. FUNDING TO COVER MANY OF THESE COSTS WERE PROVIDED IN THE FORM OF TEMPORARY INTEREST-FREE SHORT TERM LOANS BY THE CEO. ALONG WITH MAINTAINING PLATFORMS NEEDED TO PERFORM PROGRAM SERVICES, THEY CONTINUE TO RECRUITE PROFESSIONAL RETIRED VOLUNTEERS THROUGH PODCASTS, DIRECT EMAILS, SPEAKING AT PUBLIC EVENTS, AND ENGAGING IN PROMOTIONAL PUBLIC AWARENESS OPPORTUNITIES WHEN AND WHEREEVER THEY CAN.
