VISITOR AND EDUCATION PROGRAM - CONNECTS VISITORS OF ALL AGES WITH CURRENT RESEARCH AND REHABILITATION PROJECTS THROUGH INNOVATIVE PROGRAMS WHICH RANGE FROM TRAINED INTERPRETERS AVAILABLE TO ANSWER VISITORS' QUESTIONS TO VIRTUAL PROGRAMS THAT PROVIDE DELIVERY OF INFORMATION ON ALASKA'S MARINE ECOSYSTEMS TO VARIETY OF AUDIENCES.


OTHER PROGRAM SERVICES INCLUDE CENTERWIDE SERVICES AND ANIMAL CARE, WHICH INCLUDE COSTS OF SERVICES AND PERSONNEL THAT ARE NOT MANAGEMENT AND GENERAL EXPENSES.


RESEARCH PROGRAM - COLD WATER MARINE RESEARCH FACILITY DEDICATED TO RESEARCH OF MARINE MAMMALS, BIRDS AND FISH, ONGOING STELLER SEA LION RESEARCH. ALSO, INCLUDES THE ACTIVITIES OF THE NORTH PACIFIC MARINE RESEARCH INSTITUTE.


REHABILITATION PROGRAM - ONLY PERMANENT FACILITY IN THE STATE DESIGNATED FOR TREATMENT & REHABILITATION OF MARINE BIRDS AND ANIMALS. ALSO PROVIDES EDUCATIONAL OUTREACH, ADDITIONAL DATA FOR FEDERAL AGENCIES AND RESEARCHERS.
