FSAF'S 42ND YEAR WAS ABOUT THREE QUARTERS THE SIZE OF A TYPICAL YEAR AS GUEST ARTISTS, REGISTRANTS AND VENUES SOUGHT TO CONTINUE REBUILDING IN THE MIDST OF THE EFFECTS OF COVID-19. WINTER EDITION SAW 100 REGISTRANTS PARTAKE IN 7 WORKSHOPS THAT SPANNED 4 DIFFERENT GENRES AND CELEBRATED REUNITING AROUND THE ARTS. THE SUMMER FEATURED 56 GUEST ARTISTS FROM ALASKA AND AROUND THE WORLD TEACHING WORKSHOPS AND OFFERING PERFORMANCES FOR OVER 700 REGISTRANTS. THE LATE-JULY FAIRBANKS SUMMER PROVIDED THE PERFECT BACKDROP FOR PEOPLE TO LEARN NEW SKILLS, IGNITE NEW ARTISTIC PASSIONS AND DEVELOP NEW RELATIONSHIPS THAT WOULD HELP CARRY THEM THROUGH THE LONG ALASKAN WINTER.
