REEL RECOVERY'S SOLE PROGRAM IS ITS FREE FLY-FISHING PROGRAM, WHICH, IN 2023, CONSISTED OF 34 RETREATS IN 20 STATES, AUSTRALIA AND NEW ZEALAND. THESE RETREATS WERE ATTENDED BY OVER 325 MEN LIVING WITH ALL FORMS OF CANCER, IN ALL STAGES OF TREATMENT AND RECOVERY, RANGING IN AGE FROM 23-87. SINCE THE ORGANIZATION'S INCEPTION IN 2003, THE ORGANIZATION HAS CONDUCTED 410 RETREATS SERVING OVER 4,300 MEN. THE ORGANIZATION IS LOOKING FORWARD TO FURTHER EXPANSION IN 2024, ADDING RETREATS IN INDIANA AND THE UNITED KINGDOM. ALL RETREATS ARE COMPLETELY FREE TO THE PARTICIPANTS. THE ORGANIZATION HAS A DEDICATED AND GROWING GROUP OF 700 PLUS VOLUNTEERS WHO ORGANIZE, FUNDRAISE, AND IMPLEMENT THE RETREAT AT THE LOCAL LEVEL.
