AMERICA'S FOUNDATION FOR CHESS (AF4C) USES THE GAME OF CHESS TO TEACH CRITICAL AND CREATIVE THINKING SKILLS TO ELEMENTARY AGE CHILDREN. THE PROGRAM, FIRST MOVE, IS AVAILABLE TO SCHOOLS AND AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAMS, AND COMBINES ONLINE AND HANDS-ON LEARNING. FIRST MOVE IS USED IN 24 STATES, AND HAS SERVED NEARLY 1.5 MILLION CHILDREN.
