ACADEMIC SUPPORT: TARGETED PROGRAMS AND SERVICES, SPECIFICALLY AIMED AT REDUCING THE RISK FACTORS FOR DROPPING OUT OF SCHOOL WHILE CREATING PATHWAYS FOR POST-SECONDARY ACADEMIC AND VOCATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES.
GOOD CHARACTER AND CITIZEN DEVELOPMENT: - DAILY YOUTH DEVELOPMENT ACTIVITIES BASED AT THREE SPOKANE-AREA CLUBHOUSE FACILITIES. A WIDE VARIETY OF PROGRAMS SERVE OVER 4,000 YOUTHS IN 1ST THROUGH 12TH GRADES, WITH DAILY ATTENDANCE RANGING FROM 350 TO 800 PARTICIPANTS COMBINED. PROFESSIONAL STAFF AND PASSIONATE VOLUNTEERS PROVIDE GUIDANCE AND MENTORING FOR ALL CLUB MEMBERS, ENSURING A SAFE PLACE TO GO WHICH AVAILS A DIVERSITY OF STRUCTURED ACTIVITIES, FIELD TRIPS AND OTHER HIGH-IMPACT OPPORTUNITIES WHICH PROMOTE GOOD CHARACTER AND CITIZENSHIP, HEALTHY LIFESTYLES AND ACADEMIC SUCCESS.
