PROVISION OF HUMANITARIAN SUPPORT AND ADVANCEMENT OF RELIGION TO CHILDREN IN ORPHANAGES AND TO FAMILIES LIVING BELOW THE POVERTY LEVEL IN RURAL COMMUNITIES AROUND THE WORLD.

HUMANITARIAN AID AND SUPPORTING SERVICES WERE PROVIDED TO IMPOVERISHED CHILDREN LIVING IN ORPHANAGES AND RURAL COMMUNITIES OF ROMANIA. AMERICAN VOLUNTEERS, ASSISTED BY ROMANIAN NATIONALS, PROVIDED DENTAL SERVICES, CHRISTMAS AND EASTER GIFTS, FOOD STAPLES, AND CHRISTIAN LITERATURE ON THE RESPECTIVE HOLIDAYS. A 7 WEEK LONG SUMMER CAMP WAS OPERATED, PROVIDING A CHRISTIAN CAMPING EXPERIENCE TO NEARLY 300 CHILDREN FROM THE ORPHANAGES AND THE IMPOVERISHED RURAL COMMUNITIES SERVED. AMERICAN VOLUNTEERS FACILITATED CAMPER ACTIVITIES IN COOPERATION WITH ROMANIAN NATIONALS. IN ADDITION, A TRANSITIONAL HOME IS OPERATED YEAR-ROUND TO PROVIDE EDUCATION, LIFE SKILLS TRAINING AND JOB PLACEMENT SERVICES TO HOMELESS AND/OR DISADVANTAGED YOUNG WOMEN AGES 18-22 COMING FROM ROMANIAN ORPHANAGES AND RURAL COMMUNITIES. UNFORTUNATELY, 2020 TRAVEL ACTIVITIES WERE CANCELED DUE TO COVID-19 RESTRICTIONS.
