THE CRAFTSMEN LODGE NO 717 MEMORIAL CHARITY FUND MAKES DONATIONS FROM A DEDICATED CHARITY FUND TO WORTHY INDIVIDUALS, GROUPS AND OTHER CHARITABLE ORGANIZATIONS. DONATIONS INCLUDED PAYING EXCESSIVE MEDICAL BILLS, ASSISTANCE TO FAMILIES IN FINANCIAL STRAITS DUE TO LOSS OF INCOME, DONATIONS TO LOCAL FOOD PANTRIES TO ASSIST FAMILIES WHO ARE IN NEED OF FOOD AND OTHER HOUSEHOLD STAPLES, SUPPORT OF THE USO IN TRANSITIONING TROOPS THROUGH THE ST LOUIS AIRPORT FOR THE HOLIDAYS AND CONTRIBUTIONS TO INDIVIDUALS AND FAMILIES STRICKEN BY FIRE, FLOOD OR OTHER NATURAL DISASTERS. THE CRAFTSMEN LODGE MASONIC YOUTH COMMITTEE MAKES DONATIONS TO MASONIC YOUTH ORGANIZATIONS INCLUDING THE ORDER OF DEMOLAY, JOBS DAUGHTERS INTERNATIONAL, AND RAINBOW FOR GIRLS. A PORTION OF THE DUES PAID BY THE MEMBERS IS DEDICATED TO MASONIC YOUTH AND IS DISTRIBUTED BY THE GRAND LODGE ON A STATE WIDE OR NATIONAL BASIS.
