THE PURPOSE OF HABITAT FOR HUMANITY OF WILLAPA HARBOR IS TO PROVIDE ADEQUATE HOUSING FOR, AND IN PARTNERSHIP WITH, GOD'S PEOPLE IN NEED. IT IS OUR GOAL, THROUGH THE ECONOMICS THAT JESUS CHRIST HAS TAUGHT, TO CREATE FOR PEOPLE THROUGHOUT THE TRI-DISTRICT AREA A BETTER HABITAT IN WHICH TO WORK AND LIVE.WE WILL STRIVE TO ENABLE AN EXPANDING NUMBER OF PEOPLE, IN ALL WALKS OF LIFE, TO EXPERIENCE AND TRANSMIT THE LOVE AND WORKS OF JESUS CHRIST BY PARTICPATING IN THIS MINISTRY. WE VISUALIZE OUR EFFORTS AS BEING A FORCE TO BRING PROPLE TOGETHER FAIRLY AND COOPERATIVELY AS WELL AS BE A MODEL IN THE COMMUNITY FOR THE FUTURE OF THE WILLAPA HARBOR AREA.HABITAT FOR HUMANITY OF WILLAPA HARBOR IS A GRASS ROOTS ECUMENICAL, CHRISTIAN HOUSING MINISTRY, WORKING IN PARTNERSHIP WITH FAMILIES (PARTNERS) IN NEED OF DECENT AFFORDABLE HOUSING.
