NCADV IS THE VOICE OF VICTIMS AND SURVIVORS. WE ARE THE CATALYST FOR CHANGING SOCIETY TO HAVE ZERO TOLERANCE FOR DOMESTIC VIOLENCE. WE DO THIS BY EFFECTING PUBLIC POLICY, INCREASING UNDERSTANDING OF THE IMPACT OF DOMESTIC VIOLENCE, AND PROVIDING PROGRAMS AND EDUCATION THAT DRIVE THAT CHANGE.

GENERAL PROGRAM - NCADV PROVIDES INFORMATION, RESOURCES, REFERRAL AND EXPERTISE TO INFORM, EDUCATE AND ASSIST THE PUBLIC IN UNDERSTANDING DOMESTIC VIOLENCE; ADVOCATING AND SUPPORTING VICTIMS AND SURVIVORS. THE ORGANIZATION OPERATES PROGRAMMING THAT ASSISTS AND EMPOWERS VICTIMS AND SURVIVORS OF DOMESTIC VIOLENCE, CONDUCTS WEBINARS ON VARIOUS TOPICS, AND DEVELOPS AND SUSTAINS CRITICAL PARTNERSHIPS BENEFITTING VICTIMS AND SURVIVORS. TO HELP ACHIEVE THESE OBJECTIVES, NCADV HOLDS A BIENNIAL NATIONAL CONFERENCE TO PROVIDE EDUCATIONAL, INFORMATIONAL, AND NETWORKING OPPORTUNITIES FOR THOSE WORKING IN THE FIELD OF DOMESTIC VIOLENCE AND FOR VICTIMS AND SURVIVORS.


MEMBERSHIP. NCADV PROVIDES SUPPORT AND INFORMATION TO ITS MEMBERSHIP THROUGH SOCIAL MEDIA, NEWSLETTERS, NETWORKING AND ACTIVITIES THAT ASSIST THEIR WORK IN PROVIDING SERVICES AND ADVOCACY FOR VICTIMS AND SURVIVORS.


PUBLIC POLICY. NCADV WORKS SINGULARLY AND COLLABORATIVELY WITH OTHER NATIONAL ORGANIZATIONS TO PROMOTE LEGISLATIVE AND POLCIES THAT SERVE AND PROTECT VICTIMS AND SURVIVORS OF DOMESTIC VIOLENCE.
