RONALD MCDONALD HOUSE CHARITIES OF WESTERN WASHINGTON & ALASKA (RMHC) OWNS AND OPERATES THE SEATTLE RONALD MCDONALD HOUSE. WITH THE EXPANSION COMPLETED IN AUG 2022, THE SEATTLE HOUSE NOW HAS 105 ROOMS AND PROVIDES SUPPORTIVE, TEMPORARY LODGING TO FAMILIES OF SERIOUSLY ILL CHILDREN WHO MUST LEAVE THEIR OWN COMMUNITY TO HAVE THEIR CHILDREN TREATED AT SEATTLE CHILDRENS HOSPITAL (CHILDREN'S). IN 2022, 399 FAMILIES STAYED AT THE SEATTLE HOUSE WITH AN AVERAGE LENGTH OF STAY OF 61 DAYS. BY PROVIDING A HOME-AWAY-FROM-HOME, RMHC HELPS KEEP FAMILIES TOGETHER DURING A VERY DIFFICULT TIME IN THEIR LIVES.


RMHC ALSO OPERATES A HOUSE IN ANCHORAGE, ALASKA, IN PARTNERSHIP WITH THE ALASKA NATIVE MEDICAL CENTER (ANMC).
