SPEAK UP REACH OUT IS A GROUP OF INDIVIDUALS DEDICATED TO PROVIDING SUICIDE PREVENTION, INTERVENTION, AND LOSS SUPPORT SERVICES TO THOSE IN NEED. SERVICES PROVIDED BY THE ORGANIZATION INCLUDE: SUICIDE PREVENTION AND AWARENESS EDUCAITON, COMMUNITY CONNECTION EVENTS, AND SUICIDE LOSS SUPPORT SERVICES. THE MENTAL HEALTH FIRST AID COURSE TEACHES INDIVIDUALS HOW TO HELP SOMEONE WHO MAY BE EXPERIENCING A MENTAL HEALTH OR SUBSTANCE USE CHALLENGE. THE TRAINING COURSE ASSISTS INDIVIDUALS IN IDENTIFYING, UNDERSTANDING, AND RESPONDING TO SIGNS OF ADDICTIONS AND MENTAL ILLNESSES.
