SUMMER INTENSIVE - A 6-WEEK INSTRUCTIONAL CODING & CAREER PREPATORY PROGRAM DESIGNED TO EDUCATE, INSPIRE, AND EQUIP HIGH SCHOOL BOYS OF COLOR WITH THE KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND RESOURCES NEEDED TO PURSUE PATHS LEADING TO ACADEMICS AND/OR CAREERS IN THE TECHNOLOGY SECTOR.
AWARENESS - AIMED AT EXPOSING COMPUTER SCIENCE TO COMMUNITIES OF COLOR AND RECRUITING ALL STAR CODE APPLICANTS WHO ARE EXCITED ABOUT CAREERS IN COMPUTER SCIENCE PROGRAMMING, ENGINEERING, AND GAMING, OUR GOAL IS TO GENERATE EXCITEMENT ABOUT THE POSSIBILITIES THAT AWAIT THEM IN A CAREER IN TECHNOLOGY.
RESEARCH AND STUDENT SERVICES - OUR EFFORTS ARE FOCUSED ON COLLEGE SEARCH AND PREPARATORY SERVICES FOR OUR STUDENTS AS THEY TRANSITION TO POSTSECONDARY EDUCATION - COMPONENTS INCLUDE PRESENTATIONS AND EVENTS THAT CONNECT OUR STUDENT BODY WITH ENTREPRENEURS, CEOS, DEVELOPERS, DESIGNERS, AND FELLOW COLLEGE STUDENTS MAJORING IN COMPUTER SCIENCE. OUR RESEARCH MEASURES PROGRAM EFFICACY, IMPACT, AND STUDENT SENTIMENT WHICH ARE KEY DRIVERS OF IMPLEMENTING OUR ORGANIZATION'S MISSION.
