CAPITAL: PARKLAND HEALTH CENTER FOUNDATION PROVIDED CAPITAL SUPPORT FOR IDENTIFIED NEEDS OF THE HOSPITAL INCLUDING A CAR EXTRACTOR, PACEMAKERS, QSTRESS MACHINERY, VASCULAR EQUIPMENT FOR ULTRASOUNDS AND AN ULTRASOUND SYSTEM.


EXTERNAL COMMUNITY AND GENERAL OPERATIONS - PARKLAND HEALTH CENTER FOUNDATION PROVIDED $4,500 OF SCHOLARSHIPS TO LOCAL HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS PURSUING MEDICAL FIELD DEGREES, AND PROVIDED MEALS FOR STAFF APPRECIATION DAYS ($1,516).


WORKFORCE EDUCATION: PARKLAND HEALTH CENTER FOUNDATION PROVIDED EDUCATION FOR HOSPITAL STAFF INCLUDING OPERATIONAL EXCELLENCE PROGRAMS FOR STAFF PURSUING FURTHER EDUCATIONAL DEVELOPMENT AND LACTATION CONSULTATION TRAINING FOR THE OB DEPARTMENT.


PATIENT SUPPORT - PARKLAND HEALTH CENTER FOUNDATION PROVIDED PATIENT SUPPORT TO THE OB DEPARTMENT FOR THE PURCHASE OF TEDDY BEARS FOR THE HOSPITAL'S NEWEST PATIENTS. EACH FAMILY WILL RECEIVE A "MY FIRST BEAR" COURTESY OF THE SUPPORT GIVEN.
