THE ADAMS STREET FOUNDATION IS THE IN-HOUSE, NON-PROFIT PARTNER TO THE URBAN ASSEMBLY SCHOOL FOR LAW & JUSTICE, RESPONSIBLE FOR INTEGRATING PRE-COLLEGE ENRICHMENT AND PREPARATION FOR COLLEGE AND CAREER INTO THE SCHOOL'S CURRICULUM.

THE ADAMS STREET FOUNDATION, IN PARTNERSHIP WITH THE URBAN ASSEMBLY SCHOOL FOR LAW & JUSTICE (SLJ), SERVES OVER 400 STUDENTS, THE MAJORITY OF WHOM LIVE NEAR OR BELOW THE POVERTY LINE AND WILL BE THE FIRST IN THEIR FAMILY TO GO TO COLLEGE. SLJ IS AN UNSCREENED, LAW-THEMED HIGH SCHOOL. ACTIVITIES INCLUDE SAT PREP, COLLEGE TOURS, FINANCIAL AID COUNSELING, ESSAY FEEDBACK, CAREER DEVELOPMENT OPPORTUNITIES WITH SEASONED PROFESSIONALS, COACHING STUDENTS THROUGH THE EARLY ADMISSIONS PROCESS, AFTER SCHOOL CLUBS, MENTORING, AND MOCK TRIAL PROGRAMS. * 2021 HIGH SCHOOL GRADUATION RATE - 98% (VS. A COMPARATIVE CITY-WIDE GRADUATION RATE FOR 2019 OF 77%).* IN 2021, 100% OF OUR SENIORS WERE ACCEPTED TO COLLEGE OR HAVE A POST-HIGH SCHOOL PLAN.* ON AVERAGE, OUR ALUMNI ENROLL IN COLLEGE WITH LESS THAN $5K IN BORROWING.
