THE BLIND CENTER OF NEVADA IS A NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION DEDICATED TO ASSISTING BLIND AND VISUALLY IMPAIRED PERSONS OF ALL AGES IN REACHING THEIR HIGHEST PHYSICAL, SOCIAL, INTELLECTUAL, AND ECONOMIC POTENTIAL.

THE BLIND CENTER OF NEVADA PROVIDES FACILITIES AND TRANSPORTATION TO BLIND AND VISUALLY IMPAIRED PERSONS IN THE LAS VEGAS NEVADA AREA. THE MEMBERS OF THE BLIND CENTER ARE PROVIDED WITH VOCATIONAL AND OTHER TRAINING TO HELP THEM RE-INTEGRATE INTO THE WORKFORCE. THEY ARE PROVIDED MEALS AND RIDES ON A DAILY BASIS TO HELP THEM ATTEND THEIR CLASSES AT THE BLIND CENTER. THE BLIND CENTER ALSO PROVIDES EMPLOYEMENT OPPORTUNITIES TO THE BLIND AND VISUALLY IMPAIRED THROUGH ITS EXEMPT PURPOSE INDSUTRIES THAT ALLOW ITS MEMBERS TO ACCUSTOM THEMSELVES INTO THE WORKFORCE. THE CENTER ALSO PROVIDES LIMITED COUNSELING AND SOCIAL INTERACTION FOR ITS MEMBERS.
