Describe the Organization's Mission:

Part 3 - Line 1

OUR MISSION IS TO LEVERAGE THE POWER OF CROWDFUNDING TO RAISE FUNDS FOR CHARITABLE CAUSES AND SITUATIONS QUICKLY. THROUGH OUR PLATFORM, WE PROVIDE GRANTS TO SUPPORT INDIVIDUALS, ORGANIZATIONS, AND COMMUNITIES IN NEED, ENSURING THAT HELP REACHES THOSE WHO NEED IT MOST.

Describe the Organization's Program Activity:

Part 3 - Line 4a

THE GIVER ARMY IS DESIGNED TO ENCOURAGE NUMEROUS DONORS TO CONTRIBUTE REGULARLY TO ONE OF TWELVE CHARITABLE CAUSES. THESE DONATIONS ARE THEN AGGREGATED AND DISTRIBUTED AS GRANTS TO CROWDFUNDED CAMPAIGNS ASSOCIATED WITH THE RESPECTIVE CAUSE. MEMBERS OF THE GIVER ARMY CONSIDER THEMSELVES THE 'CROWD FOR THE CROWDLESS,' CHOOSING TO COMBINE THEIR SMALL DONATIONS WITH OTHERS TO SUPPORT INDIVIDUALS FACING SIGNIFICANT NEEDS WITHOUT A SUPPORTIVE COMMUNITY. OUR CAUSES INCLUDE: PRO-LIFE: ASSISTANCE IN ADOPTION, FOSTER CARE, PREGNANCY CARE, OR FAMILY DEVELOPMENT. ANIMAL RESCUE AND CARE. ARTS AND EDUCATION. ESSENTIALS FOR LIFE: PROVIDING FOOD SECURITY AND OTHER DAILY ESSENTIALS. CRISIS RESPONSE: PROVISIONS FOR VOLUNTEER GROUPS DURING A CRISIS. RESCUE AND REHABILITATION: PROVIDING FUNDS FOR PEOPLE SEEKING FORMS OF REHABILITATION, INCLUDING DRUG AND ALCOHOL ABUSE AND HUMAN TRAFFICKING. THESE FUNDS ALSO SUPPORT OTHER NONPROFIT ORGANIZATIONS WITH A SIMILAR FOCUS. JUSTICE FOR ALL: PROVIDING FUNDS FOR PEOPLE SEEKING LEGAL AID. MEDICAL RELIEF. EARTH CARE. BARNABAS FUND: PROVIDING FUNDS FOR SEMI-COMPLETED CHARITABLE PROJECTS. WE HAVE PROVIDED 86 GRANTS RANGING FROM $100 TO $5000. GRANT AMOUNTS ARE DETERMINED BASED ON THE EXPRESSED NEEDS AND AVAILABLE FUNDS. CAMPAIGNS SELECTED TO RECEIVE A GRANT MUST MEET SPECIFIC CRITERIA. THEY MUST COMPLY WITH ALL LAWS GOVERNING CHARITABLE GIVING, SUCH AS NOT PROVIDING GRANTS TO FAMILY MEMBERS AND ENSURING THE CAMPAIGN IS SET UP FOR A CHARITABLE CAUSE RELATED TO HUMANITARIAN AID, FAITH, EDUCATION, ETC. THE CAMPAIGN OWNER MUST BE ACTIVELY ATTEMPTING TO RAISE FUNDS OUTSIDE OF RECEIVING A GRANT, INDICATING THAT THE CAMPAIGN IS DEEMED WORTHY OF CROWDFUNDING. ADDITIONALLY, THE CAMPAIGN MUST FULFILL ALL VERIFICATION STEPS PROVIDED BY THE PLATFORM ON WHICH THEY START THEIR CAMPAIGN.

OUR CARE AND RELIEF FUNDS ARE ESTABLISHED TO MEET THE FINANCIAL NEEDS OF INDIVIDUALS AND COMMUNITIES AFFECTED BY RECOGNIZED CRISES AND CHALLENGES. THESE FUNDS ARE RAISED THROUGH CROWDFUNDING AND THEN DISTRIBUTED AS GRANTS TO CROWDFUNDED CAMPAIGNS OF THOSE AFFECTED BY THE CORRESPONDING SITUATION. THIS YEAR, WE INITIATED NINE FUNDS TO ADDRESS LOCAL AND INTERNATIONAL CONCERNS, INCLUDING EARTHQUAKE RELIEF IN THE MIDDLE EAST, THE CHEMICAL SPILL IN OHIO, TORNADO DAMAGE IN MISSISSIPPI, WILDFIRES IN MAUI, HURRICANE RELIEF IN FLORIDA, FOOD PROVISION IN SOMALIA, CARE PACKS FOR CHILDREN AFFECTED BY THE WAR IN THE MIDDLE EAST, AND FUNDS FOR THE FAMILY OF A VICTIM OF A SHOOTING IN MAINE. THESE FUNDS WERE PREDOMINANTLY DISTRIBUTED TO OTHER NONPROFIT ORGANIZATIONS, WITH GRANTS RANGING FROM $500 TO $5000 PROVIDED FOR CROWDFUNDED CAMPAIGNS BENEFITING VICTIMS AFFECTED BY EACH SITUATION.

OUR PARTNER PROJECTS CONSIST OF CROWDFUNDED CHARITABLE INITIATIVES THAT REQUIRE ONGOING DONATIONS FOR CONTINUAL PROGRESS IN THEIR RESPECTIVE FIELDS. EACH PROJECT IS CROWDFUNDED INDEPENDENTLY, ENABLING DONORS TO CHOOSE THE SPECIFIC CHARITABLE PROJECT THEY WISH TO SUPPORT. PRESENTLY, OUR SOLE PROJECT, SHARE THE TRUTH NOW, IS A FAITH-BASED INITIATIVE THAT OFFERS FREE EDUCATIONAL RESOURCES FOR FAITH COMMUNITIES, ALIGNING WITH OUR MISSION TO PROVIDE NOT ONLY FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE BUT ALSO SPIRITUAL SUPPORT. WE HAVE DISTRIBUTED FREE RESOURCE CARDS TO HUNDREDS OF INDIVIDUALS SEEKING TO INSPIRE HOPE IN THEIR COMMUNITIES.
