BERRIEN FORWARD'S PURPOSE IS TO EMPOWER ORDINARY CITIZENS TO HAVE EQUITABLE ACCESS TO THE BALLOT; REMOVING BARRIERS TO CIVIC ENGAGEMENT; CREATING OPPORTUNITIES IN DISENFRANCHISED COMMUNITIES FOR GROWTH AND INVESTMENT. BERRIEN FORWARD'S VISION IS TO INCREASE VOTER PARTICIPATION IN LOCAL STATE AND FEDERAL ELECTIONS; RECRUITING AND TRAINING CIVIC LEADERS; ENHANCE AWARENESS AROUND COMMUNITY ISSUES AND INCREASE VOTER AWARENESS OF PUBLIC POLICY; ELIMINATE VOTER SUPPRESSION; AND CREATE A WORLD WHERE EVERY CITIZEN FEELS THEIR VOICE THEIR VOTE AND THEIR VALUES MATTER.
