THE MSQ FOUNDATION LAUNCHED A MULTI-YEAR NATIONAL PARTNERSHIP WITH YMCA OF THE USA TO SUPPORT THE EXPANSION OF THE YOUTH AND GOVERNMENT PROGRAM THAT TEACHES THE NEXT GENERATION OF COMMUNITY LEADERS THE IMPORTANCE OF CIVIC ENGAGEMENT AND PROCESS CRITICAL THINKING AND LEADERSHIP SKILLS. THE PROGRAM ENGAGES THE NEXT GENERATION IN CIVIC PROGRAMMING, GIVING THEM A VOICE IN HELPING TO SOLVE COMMUNITY CHALLENGES TO ENSURE THAT OUR LOCAL COMMUNITIES CAN THRIVE AND SERVES AS A CRITICAL STEP TOWARDS LONG-TERM SOLUTIONS FOR IMPROVING CIVIC DISCOURSE.
JUNIOR ACHIEVEMENT USA - MISSIONSQUARE FOUNDATION HAS INVESTED IN THE 2024 TEENS AND PERSONAL FINANCE SURVEY WHICH WILL EXPLORE TRENDS IN YOUTH FINANCIAL LITERACY AND EXAMINE YOUNG PEOPLES' BEHAVIORS AND ATTITUDES RELATING TO MONEY MANAGEMENT. IN ADDITION, MISSIONSQUARE FOUNDATION ALSO SPONSORED THE DEVELOPMENT AND DESIGN OF A 3D CASE STUDY FOR JA OF GREATER WASHINGTON. IMPLEMENTATION OF THE CASE STUDY OCCURS DURING SCHOOL YEARS 2023-2024 AND 2024-2025.
