THE FOUNDATION WAS INCORPORATED IN JANUARY OF 2022 AND STARTING RAISING FUNDS IN AUGUST OF 2022. WE HAVE ESTABLISHED FIVE SCHOLARSHIPS WE WILL BE AWARDING TO WOMEN TO ATTEND OUR WLLE TRAINING SYMPOSIUM VALUED UP TO $2,500 EACH; DEVELOPED A LEADERSHIP AWARD WE WILL PRESENT IN SEPTEMBER, LAUNCHED A MENTORING PROGRAM WITH 80 MENTORS AND A GROWING NUMBER OF MENTEES, HAVE PRESENTED FIVE VIRTUAL TRAINING SEMINARS WITH A TOTAL OF 280 ATTENDEES; HAVE DEVELOPED SAMPLE CHAPTER BYLAWS AND CHAPTER AGREEMENTS AND DEVELOPMENT GUIDELINES, ESTABLISHED A SOCIAL MEDIA PRESENCE. OUR EXPEMT PURPOSE IS TO TO ENGAGE IN EDUCATIONAL, TRAINING AND MENTORING ACTIVITIES FOR WOMEN IN LAW ENFORCEMENT, REGARDLESS OF RANK OR SWORN STATUS, THAT WILL BENEFIT THE PUBLIC BY ENHACING COMMUNITY TRUST AND POLICE LEGITIMACY.
