CSP (THE CENTER FOR SUSTAINABLE FINANCE AND PRIVATE WEALTH) NORTH AMERICA WORKS AT THE INTERSECTION OF SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH, WEALTH HOLDERS, AND INVESTMENT PROFESSIONALS TO EMPOWER INVESTORS TO MOVE PRIVATE WEALTH TOWARDS SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT.

IN 2022, CSP NORTH AMERICA FURTHER DEVELOPED A TRAINING PROGRAM TO SUPPORT SELF-MADE WEALTH HOLDERS IN ALLOCATING THEIR FINANCIAL AND NON-FINANCIAL CAPITAL TOWARDS IMPACT. THIS WAS A CONTINUATION OF THE WORK THAT WAS STARTED AT CSP IN ZURICH IN 2021, AND IN PARTNERSHIP WITH KATAPULT FOUNDATION. OUTCOMES OF THIS DEVELOPMENT PHASE INCLUDE A ROBUST LEARNING FRAMEWORK, A ROSTER OF TRAINERS AND MENTORS, AND A SMALL BUT ENGAGED ALUMNI COMMUNITY OF SELF-MADE IMPACT INVESTORS AND PHILANTHROPISTS COMMITTED TO SUPPORTING PEERS IN TRANSITIONING FROM ENTREPRENEUR TO IMPACT INVESTOR. THIS PROGRAM WORK CREATED THE FOUNDATION FOR THE NEXT YEAR'S PROGRAM TO LAUNCH.
IN ITS INAUGURAL YEAR, CSP NORTH AMERICA RAN A TOTAL OF 4 IN-PERSON EVENTS TO ENGAGE LOCAL, U.S.-BASED ALUMNI OF CSP GLOBAL PROGRAMS AND TO SUPPORT THEM IN MOBILIZING CAPITAL TOWARDS IMPACT. EVENTS HELD PROVIDED OPPORTUNITY TO NETWORK AND TO LEARN, WITH CONTENT COVERING TOPICS LIKE IMPACT MEASUREMENT AND MANAGEMENT. THESE INTIMATE EVENTS RESULTED IN A TOTAL OF 35 COMMUNITY MEMBERS REACHED.
IN ORDER TO DEEPEN THE KNOWLEDGE OF IMPACT INVESTORS AND PHILANTHROPISTS IN THE ECOSYSTEM, CSP NORTH AMERICA UNDERTOOK A SERIES OF SPEAKING ENGAGEMENTS AT INDUSTRY CONFERENCES. IN 2022, CSP NORTH AMERICA RAN SESSIONS AT 4 IN-PERSON CONFERENCES, REACHING A TOTAL OF 150 MEMBERS OF THE WIDER IMPACT ECOSYSTEM. THIS WORK SERVED AS INSPIRATION FOR THE ECOSYSTEM TO MOVE MORE PRIVATE CAPITAL TOWARDS IMPACTFUL CAUSES.
