THE HEAD START AND EARLY HEAD START PROGRAM PROVIDES EDUCATIONAL SKILLS TO CHILDREN AGES 5 AND UNDER AND PREPARES CHILDREN FROM LOW-INCOME FAMILIES FOR SCHOOL READINESS THROUGH EDUCATION, HEALTH, SOCIAL AND OTHER SERVICES. THE EARLY HEAD START PROGRAM ENROLLED 48 IN THREE CLASSROOMS AND THE HEAD START PROGRAM ENROLLED 40 CHILDREN IN FIVE CLASSROOMS. CHILD CARE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED TO ASSIST PARENTS OF THE HEAD START PROGRAM. THE CHILD NUTRITION PROGRAM PROVIDES NUTRITION SERVICES TO CHILDREN WHO ARE ENROLLED IN THE EARLY HEAD START AND HEAD START PROGRAMS.
