IT IS IMPORTANT TO RECOGNIZE THAT BEHAVIOR PROBLEMS ARE OFTEN RELATED TO UNDERLYING MEDICAL CONDITIONS. THIS MAY INCLUDE PHYSICAL PAIN AS WELL AS EMOTIONAL PAIN, SUCH AS ANXIETY OR FEAR.
