THE PRINCIPAL PROGRAM SERVICE OF THE YORK COMMUNITY RESOURCE CENTER IS TO PROVIDE BILINGUAL EDUCATION AND SKILLS TRAINING. THE ORGANIZATION PROVIDES STATE-OF-THE-ART WORKFORCE TRAINING PROGRAMS THAT HELP GROW STRONG AND EDUCATED COMMUNITIES. THE CORE SERVICES PROVIDE EDUCATION AND SKILLS TRAINING TO THOSE WHO ARE UNEMPLOYED, UNDER-EMPLOYED, AND FAMILIES LIVING IN POVERTY. THE SERVICES THEY PROVIDE INCLUDE:1. ESL AND GED CLASSES: THE ORGANIZATION PROVIDES ESL CLASSES TO EMPOWER LANGUAGE LEARNERS TO DEVELOP THEIR ENGLISH LANGUAGE SKILLS IN A MOTIVATED AND CULTURALLY APPROPRIATE WAY. EACH CLASS IS CUSTOMIZED TO FIT THE NEEDS OF STUDENTS AT VARIOUS PROFICIENCY LEVELS - BASIC, INTERMEDIATE, OR ADVANCED. THE ORGANIZATION ALSO PROVIDES HIGH SCHOOL EQUIVALENCY COURSES IN SPANISH.2. WORKFORCE PROGRAMS: THE ORGANIZATION OFFERS CONVENIENT TRAINING COURSES FOR A VARIETY OF INDUSTRIES AND CAREER PATHS. THESE COURSES ARE DESIGNED TO QUICKLY AND COMPREHENSIVELY PREPARE THE INDIVIDUAL OR THE STUDENT FOR THE WORKFORCE WITH OPPORTUNITIES FOR CONTINUED GROWTH.3.
