VOTER ENGAGEMENT - WE STRIVE TO INCREASE VOTER TURNOUT THROUGH DIRECT VOTER ENGAGEMENT, HELPING VOTERS BE INFORMED, AND BY CONDUCTING RESEARCH ON DEMOGRAPHIC, GEOGRAPHIC, AND HISTORICAL VOTING PATTERS IN WASHINGTON STATE. WE ALSO PROVIDE COMMUNITY GRANT AWARDS TO PARTNER ORGANIZATIONS TO SUPPORT THESE EFFORTS
MEDIA AND NEWSLETTER - WE PRODUCE A NEWSLETTER WITH POLITICAL EDUCATION, LEGISLATIVE CONTENT, AND OTHER MISSION-ALIGNED INFORMATION TO RECIPIENTS. WE ALSO SUPPORT PARTNERS IN WRITING AND PUBLISHING OP-EDS THAT ARE SUPPORTIVE OF OUR WORK IN LOCAL MEDIA OUTLETS.
REDISTRICTING - WE CONDUCT RESEARCH ON GIS DEMOGRAPHIC ANALYSIS TO PROPOSE FAIR DISTRICTS FOR WA STATE. WE ORGANIZED BI-WEEKLY COALITION CALLS WITH COMMUNITY ORGANIZATIONS, MADE GRANTS TO ORGANIZATIONS TO HOST COMMUNITY TOWN-HALLS ABOUT THEIR PREFERRED APPROACH TO REDISTRICTING, CREATED VIDEO EXPLAINERS ABOUT THE REDISTRICTING PROCESS, AND SUPPORTED ORGANIZATION LEADERS WITH EARNED MEDIA ENGAGEMENT AS WELL AS EDITORIALS.
