TO ORGANIZE FOR USEFUL PURPOSES ALL ACTIVE YOUTH SPORT SHOOTING ORGANIZATIONS IN MISSOURI INCLUSIVE OF ALL AGES THROUGH FULFILLMENT OF COLLEGE SPORTS ELIGIBLITY, TO COORDINATE ACTIVITIES WITHIN MISSOURI, HOST COMPETITIVE EVENTS, FACILITATE TRAINING OF COACHES, AND FOSTER UNITY IN ALL VENUES OF YOUTH SPORT SHOOTING ACTIVITIES.

TO RAISE MONEY FOR SHOOTING EDUCATION, INVEST IT AND DISTRIBUTE THE EARNINGS IN THE FORM OF GRANTS TO ACTIVE MISSOURI AFFILIATED YOUTH SPORT SHOOTING ORGANIZATIONS. THESE ORGANIZATIONS INCLUDE MANY FFA AND BOY SCOUT CLUBS, AS WELL AS SECONDARY SCHOOL SHOOTING TEAMS AND VARIOUS OTHER YOUTH SPORT SHOOTING EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS AND EVENTS. CURRENT PARTICIPATION BY MISSOURI YOUTH HAS REACHED NEARLY 24,000 YOUTH IN ADDITION TO TRAINING MULTIPLE SHOTGUN COACH TRAINERS ACROSS THE STATE OF MISSOURI.
THE ALLIANCE FACILITATES THE TRAINING OF EXCELLENT SHOOTING COACHES TO INSURE THAT YOUTH SHOOTERS HAVE QUALIFIED LEADERS AS THEY ENJOY AND GAIN PROFICIENCY IN THE SPORT. TO FURTHER THAT TRAINING, THE ALLIANCE HOSTS AN ANNUAL STATEWIDE COMPETITIVE TRAP SHOOTING MATCH.
ASSISTED MISSOURI YOUTH SHOOTING SPORTS PARTICIPANTS AND VOLUNTEER ADULT LEADERS WITH TRAINING, EQUIPMENT AND LEADERSHIP PROGRAMS, INCLUDING SUCCESSFUL COMPLETION OF THE STUDENT AIR RIFLE PILOT PROGRAM. THIS RESULTED IN THE IMPLEMENTATION OF THE SAR CIRRICULUM MODELED AFTER THE NATIONAL ARCHERY SCHOOLS PROGRAM TO HELP REALIZE THE ORGANIZATION'S GOAL OF MAKING SAFE SHOOTING SPORTS ACCESSIBLE TO ALL MISSOURI YOUTH.
