SECOND CHANCE FOR HOMELESS PETS ADOPTION PROGRAM PLACES HOMELESS PETS INTO NEW HOMES. EACH PET IS SURGICALLY STERILIZED, PROVIDED ROUTINE VACCINATIONS, ANY NECESSARY OR EMERGENCY VETERINARY CARE AND MICROCHIPPED BEFORE PLACEMENT TO ENSURE THE REDUCTION IN THE PER OVER-POPULATION AND INSTANCES OF HOMELESSNESS IN THE FUTURE.
SECOND CHANCE FOR HOMELESS PETS PROVIDES LOW COST VACCINATIONS AND MICROCHIPS TO HELP FAMILIES GET THEIR PET(S) VACCINATION AGAINST COMMON PET ILLNESSES AND A MICROCHIP IMPLANTED. THIS SERVICE HELPS REDUCE THE NUMBER OF ANIMALS ABANDONED DUE TO THE INABILITY TO PAY FOR VETERINARY CARE AND ENSUE THE PER POPULATION IN GENERAL REMAINS HEALTHY AND SAFE AS WELL AS HELPS ANIMALS GET BACK HOME IF THEY GET LOST AT ANY TIME WITH MICROCHIP INFORMATION.
SECOND CHANCE FOR HOMELESS PETS HUMANE EDUCATION/OUTREACH PROGRAM PROVIDES EDUCATIONAL RESOURCES TO PET OWNERS AND PROVIDES HUMANE EDUCATION WORKSHOPS/RESOURCES TO ADULT AND YOUTH GROUPS/SCHOOLS.
