AT THE END OF 2023, 3,440 BIRDS HAD ENTERED OUR ADOPTION PROGRAM. WE COMMIT TO LIFETIME PROTECTION FOR THESE BIRDS, NO MATTER HOW MANY HOMES THEY NEED THROUGH US. IN THE AREA OF EDUCATION, PHOENIX LANDING HOSTED 13 ZOOM EVENTS WITH SPECIAL GUEST SPEAKERS. THESE EVENTS ARE AVAILABLE TO ANYONE WORLDWIDE, AND THE RECORDINGS ARE ALSO AVAILABLE IN PERPETUITY ON OUR WEBSITE. WE ALSO PROVIDE TWO CORE PARROT-CARE CLASSES ONLINE EVERY MONTH.


OUR CONSERVATION SUPPORT FOR 2023 WENT TO THE MACAW SOCIETY OUT OF TEXAS A&M AND THE MACAW RECOVERY NETWORK. THIS DONATION COINCIDED WITH OUR SPONSORED ECOTOUR TO COSTA RICA IN FEBRUARY.


IN 2023, WE CREATED AN ADVISORY BOARD, CURRENTLY COMPRISED OF SEVEN INDIVIDUALS WHO CONTRIBUTE TO THE WELFARE OF BIRDS AND PROVIDE INVALUABLE SUPPORT TO PHOENIX LANDING. THESE ARE LEADING EXPERTS IN THEIR FIELDS, FROM ESTATE PLANNING FOR PETS TO SIGNIFICANT MEDICAL RESEARCH.
