RAISE FUNDS FOR BIG BROTHERS BIG SISTERS OF UTAH THROUGH THE COLLECTION OF USED CLOTHING AND HOUSEHOLD ITEMS AND SELLING THE GOODS TO SAVERS THRIFT STORES AND OTHERS.

AS AN INTEGRAL COMPONENT OF BIG BROTHERS BIG SISTERS OF UTAH'S SUCCESS, FRIENDS OF BIG BROTHERS BIG SISTERS CONTINUES TO CONTRIBUTE TO THE SUCCESS OF THE ORGANIZATION. THE YEAR 2021 WAS A REBUILD YEAR DUE TO THE PANDEMIC. FBBBSU WAS ABLE TO COLLECT ABOUT 3.3 MILLION LBS, DOUBLE THE 1.6 MILLION LBS COLLECTED THE PREVIOUS YEAR. THIS IS STILL ONLY 60% OF THE AMOUNT COLLECTED IN THE PRE-PANDEMIC YEAR OF 2019. FRIENDS OF BIG BROTHERS BIG SISTERS OF UTAH WAS RESPONSIBLE FOR PROVIDING 19% OF THE BIG BROTHERS BIG SISTERS OF UTAH'S REVENUE IN 2021 VERSUS 11% IN THE PREVIOUS YEAR. TOTAL PAYMENTS IN 2021 WERE 460,000 VERSUS 200,000 IN 2020. IT IS ANTICIPATED THAT IN 2022 FRIENDS OF BIG BROTHERS BIG SISTERS OF UTAH WILL PROVIDE FINANCIAL SUPPORT AT A LEVEL CLOSE TO PRE-PANDEMIC LEVELS.
