THE ORGANIZATION IS COMMITTED TO PROVIDING CRISIS INTERVENTION COUNSELING SERVICES TO SEXUAL ASSAULT VICTIMS, THEIR FAMILIES, AND FRIENDS; EDUCATING THE COMMUNITY ABOUT THE CAUSES, IMPACTS, AND PREVENTION OF SEXUAL ASSAULT; AND ADVOCATING FOR COMPREHENSIVE MEDICAL TREATMENT AND RESPECTFUL LEGAL REPRESENTATION ON BEHALF OF VICTIMS OF THIS VIOLENT CRIME. THE RAPE RECOVERY CENTERS PROFESSIONAL STAFF AND GROUP OF CERTIFIED AND COMMITTED VOLUNTEERS WORK TOGETHER TO EDUCATE THE COMMUNITY ABOUT ISSUES OF RAPE AND SEXUAL ASSAULT, PROVIDE SURVIVORS WITH IMMEDIATE CRISIS INTERVENTION, AND AID SURVIVORS IN THE HEALING PROCESS.

DURING FISCAL YEAR 2020-2021, THE RAPE RECOVERY CENTER (RRC) PROVIDED 13,857 SERVICES TO 1,236 CLIENTS. ADDITIONALLY, THE COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT TEAM ENGAGED WITH 23,962 PEOPLE AND OUR EFFORTS REACHED 68,593 COMMUNITY MEMBERS WITH INFORMATION ABOUT HEALING SERVICES AND SEXUAL VIOLENCE PREVENTION EDUCATION ACROSS THE STATE OF UTAH. THE ORGANIZATION MADE A NUMBER OF CHANGES IN ORDER TO IMPROVE OPERATIONAL EFFICIENCIES. IN THE FALL OF 2020, THE RRC HIRED A NEW OPERATIONS MANAGER TO OVERSEE THE FINANCIALS. OVER THE COURSE OF THE FISCAL YEAR, THE RRC IMPLEMENTED A THIRD PARTY PAYROLL PROVIDER (ADP) AND WEB BASED ELECTRONIC TIME AND ATTENDANCE TRACKING. THE ORGANIZATION TRANSITIONED FROM QUICKBOOKS DESKTOP TO QUICKBOOKS ONLINE TO INCREASE EFFICIENCY AND ACCESSIBILITY. RRC BEGAN THE PROCESS OF MIGRATING TO A NEW CLIENT RECORD MANAGEMENT SYSTEM, MOVING FROM ECCOVIA CLIENT TRACK TO SOCIAL SOLUTIONS APRICOT. IN DECEMBER 2020, THE RAPE RECOVERY CENTER RECEIVED ITS LARGEST SINGLE CORPORATE GIFT TO DATE IN THE AMOUNT OF 521,385.52. THE CENTER PAID OFF ITS 112,030.25 LINE OF CREDIT WITH WELLS FARGO. ADDITIONALLY, THE RRC APPLIED AND RECEIVED 100% FORGIVENESS OF ITS PPP LOAN THROUGH MOUNTAIN AMERICA CREDIT UNION IN THE AMOUNT OF 218,200.
