THROUGH A NOMINATION PROCESS WE CHOSE 4 INDIVIDUALS TO RECEIVE A $30,000 AWARD TO BUILD THEIR ORGANIZATION AS THEY SEE FIT. THE AWARD INCLUDES MONTHLY GROUP TRAINING THAT GRAPPLES WITH AN ORGANIZING SKILL OR FRAMEWORK. INDIVIDUAL COACHING CALLS TO TROUBLESHOOOT CHALLENGES OR PRACTICE NEW SKILLS. OPPORTUNITIES FOR COLLABORATION IN OTHER WV CAN'T WAIT PROGRAMS. INVITATIONS TO CONNECT WITH FUNDERS. IN ADDITION, INDIVIDUALS CAN OPT INTO A FISCAL SPONSORSHIP. THIS INCLUDES FINANCIAL TRAINING AND BOOKKEEPING.
THIS PROGRAM EXPENSES CONTAINS THE COMPENSATION FOR WV CAN'T WAIT STAFF. THIS INCLUDES ACTIVITIES SUCH AS COACHING (BOTH INDIVIDUAL AND GROUP), LOCAL ORGANIZING WITH WV CAN'T WAIT PARTNERS, AND AN ENDORSEMENT PROCESS FOR FUTURE WV CAN'T WAIT CANDIDATES.
