SEVERE DISORDERS OF CONSCIOUSNESS:IBRF HAS DEVELOPED DR. DEFINA'S ADVANCED CARE PROTOCOL/MULTICARE PROTOCOL (ACP/MCP) THAT UTILIZES TARGETED NEUROMODULATION PROCEDURES TO NORMALIZE THE BRAIN'S ELECTROCHEMICAL ENVIRONMENT TO IMPROVE BRAIN FUNCTION. THIS YEAR, IBRF PLACED SDOC PROGRAMS IN A VARIETY OF HOSPITAL/NURSING/REHAB FACILITIES WITH IMPLEMENTATION OF THE PROTOCOL. THESE SITES WERE BOTH INTHE UNITED STATES AND ABROAD. ALVARO PASCUAL-LEONE OF HARVARD UNIVERSITY FOR IMPROVED TREATMENTS FOR TRAUMATIC BRAIN INJURY. DIAGNOSTIC AND TREATMENT TOOLS SUCH AS ANS (AUTONOMIC NERVOUS SYSTEM MONITORING) AND TMS (TRANSCRANIAL MAGNETIC STIMULATION) ARE BEING VALIDATED AS TWO OF THE MOST PROMINENT TOOLS TO TACKLE THE COMPLEXITIES OF TRAUMATIC BRAIN INJURY AND SUDDEN DEATH SYNDROME.DRS. THIS WAS PROMPTED BY THE REQUEST OF THE U.S. ARMY.
NEURODEGENERATIVE, DEVELOPMENTAL, AND RELATED DISORDERS:IBRF HAS BEGUN RESEARCH IN THE USE OF INFRARED LIGHT THERAPY COMBINED WITH NUTRACEUTICALS AND ELECTRICAL STIMULATION PROTOCOLS AND NEUROFEEDBACK FOR DEMENTIA.
