THE FOUNDATION CONTINUED ITS GRANT TO SUPPORT NON-PHARMACOLOGICAL INTERVENTIONS FOR PATIENTS LIVING WITH DEMENTIA WHO EXPERIENCE AGITATION. RESEARCH FROM THE PROGRAM WAS PUBLISHED AND SHOWED A 50% DECLINE IN AGITATION SYMPTOMS!
1000 REGISTRANTS PARTICIPATED IN OUR FIRST ANNUAL VIRTUAL EDUCATION SERIES: DEATH CREATIONS. MONTHLY SESSIONS WERE HELD ON VARIOUS END-OF-LIFE TOPICS OF INTEREST TO OUR COMMUNITY, INCLUDING CHILDRENS GRIEF AND AQUAMATION.
IN 2021, ROOTS & ROADS AIDED MORE THAN 400 PATIENTS AND FAMILY MEMBERS THROUGH FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE FOR BASIC NEEDS, BEREAVEMENT WORKBOOKS, AND VETERAN CEREMONIES.
