THE CHAMBER IS FOCUSED ON FACILITATING THE ECONOMIC GROWTH OF THE GREATER PHOENIX BUSINESS COMMUNITY BY PROVIDING ACCESS TO BUSINESS RESOURCES AND OPPORTUNITIES THAT ADD VALUE THROUGH FIVE PILLARS OF SERVICE. 1) ADVOCACY - THE CHAMBER FIGHTS FOR LEGISLATION THAT PROMOTES SMALL BUSINESS GROWTH, PARTICULARLY POLICIES THAT ADDRESS THE CHALLENGES OF BLACK BUSINESS OWNERS. 2) ACCESS TO CAPITAL - CAPITAL ACCESS REMAINS THE MOST IMPORTANT FACTOR LIMITING THE ESTABLISHMENT, EXPANSION AND GROWTH OF BLACK-OWNED BUSINESSES. 3) CONTRACTING - OUR GOAL IS TO LEVEL THE PLAYING FIELD BY HELPING MEMBERS GAIN ACCESS TO BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES IN PRIVATE AND PUBLIC SECTORS. 4) ENTREPRENEUR TRAINING - THE CHAMBER IS COMMITTED TO HELPING BLACK BUSINESS LEADERS ACHIEVE STELLAR PERFORMANCE AND GROWTH THROUGH ENTREPRENEUR AND BUSINESS MANAGEMENT TRAINING. 5) BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT - THE GROWTH AND DEVELOPMENT OF CHAMBER MEMBERS, BUSINESSES AND INDIVIDUALS IS A CORE FOCUS.
