DISSEMINATION OF INFORMATION AND STIMULATION OF MORE EFFECTIVE CONTINUING EDUCATION IN THE TREATMENT OF HUMAN BURN INJURIES. THE SOCIETY ISSUED OVER 3,600 BURNS JOURNALS INTERNATIONALLY DURING THE YEAR TO HELP SPREAD AWARENESS FOR BURN INJURY TREATMENTS.
PROVIDE EDUCATION AND RESOURCES TO ASSIST AND IMPROVE THE LEVEL OF CARE FOR THERMALLY INJURED PATIENTS ACCROSS THE GLOBE. THE SOCIETY HELPS FORMULATE BURN CARE GUIDELINES AND HAS A BIANNUAL CONGRESS PROVIDING EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS FOR BURN CARE PROVIDERS. THROUGH GLOBAL EDUCATION, PREVENTION AND CLINICAL CARE EFFORTS THE SOCIETY IS HELPING TO ESTABLISH ONE WORLD, AND ONE STANDARD OF CARE.
