THE WILLO NEIGHBORHOOD ASSOCIATION CONTINUES TO SUPPORT THE WILLO NEIGHBORHOOD CONSERVATION PLAN AND TO SERVE THE RESIDENTS AND COMMUNITY. ONGOING EFFORTS THIS YEAR INCLUDED THE MONTHLY PUBLICATION OF "INSIDE WILLO" - THE NEIGHBORHOOD NEWSLETTER, MAINTAINING THE WEBSITE (WWW.WILLOPHX.COM), RETURNING FROM THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC TO HOST THE 33RD ANNUAL HOME TOUR, CONTINUING TO ASSIST RESIDENTS WITH HISTORIC REGISTRATION, AND CONTINUING THE HOLIDAY TRADITION OF LIGHTING THE LUMINARIAS. WILLO CONTINUES EFFORTS TO HELP CLEAN-UP COMMON AREAS WITHIN THE NEIGHBORHOOD THROUGH THE KLEANSTREETS PROGRAM. ISSUES WITH POTENTIAL IMPACT ON THE NEIGHBORHOOD CONTINUE TO BE REVIEWED BY THE ZONING COMMITTEE. ONGOING PROGRAMS INCLUDE, THE BLOCKWATCH PROGRAM, KIDS CLUB, VISION 3.5 (THE STREETSCAPE PLAN TO CALM TRAFFIC ALONG 3RD AND 5TH AVENUES), AND CONTINUED MONITORING OF ALLEY TRAFFIC. A TEAM OF WILLO VOLUNTEERS ALSO PRODUCED A COMPREHENSIVE ARCHITECTURAL PHOTO BOOK WITH WRITTEN NARRATIVE OF THE HISTORY OF WILLO, WHICH WAS MADE AVAILABLE TO THE COMMUNITY FOR PURCHASE.
