THE PHOENIX CHAPTER OF ARCS FOUNDATION, INC., USES THE FOLLOWING PROCEDURES TO DETERMINE AN INDIVIDUAL'S QUALIFICATION FOR A SCHOLAR AWARD:THE FOUNDATION'S CHAIRPERSON COORDINATES WITH THE DEANS OF THE GRADUATE COLLEGES OF ARIZONA'S THREE PUBLIC UNIVERSITIES TO FIND QUALIFIED GRADUATE STUDENTS. THESE GRADUATE STUDENTS MUST BE STUDYING IN AN AREA OF SCIENCE (I.E. GEOLOGY, AGRICULTURE, FORESTRY, BIOLOGY, MEDICINE, OR ANTHROPOLOGY). THE UNIVERSITIES ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE SELECTING OF THE SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS.
