WE DISTRIBUTED 81,774 POUNDS OF FOOD AND SERVED 5,264 INDIVUDALS. WE ALSO DISTRIBUTED THANKSGIVING BOXES TO 82 FAMILIES AND CHRISTMAS BREAKFAST AND DINNER BOXES TO 76 FAMILIES. THE MAJORITY OF THE FOOD IS FROM COMMUNITY FOOD DRIVES. DURING 2022, HEART 2 HAND BINGHAM FOOD PANTRY RECEIVED 67,640 POUNDS OF DONATED FOOD ITEMS. HEART 2 HAND BINGHAM FOOD PANTRY IS RUN ENTIRELY BY VOLUNTEERS AND RELIES SOLELY ON GRANTS AND DONATIONS TO COVER OPERATING EXPENSES.
WE PROVIDED A CHRISTMAS GIFT FOR 65 CHILDREN AND 49 SENIOR CITIZENS. GIFTS ARE PURCHASED BY DONORS AND THEN DROPPED OFF AT A PICK UP LOCATION. GIFTS ARE DISTRIBUTED THROUGH THE FOOD BANK. AVERAGE COST OF EACH IS GIFT IS ABOUT $25.
