THE FOUNDATION PROVIDES SUPPORT AND RELIEF TO MEMBERS OF THE COMMUNITIES IN WHICH ALTERRA MOUNTAIN COMPANY, AN AFFILIATED ORGANIZATION, SERVES. SUPPORT AND RELIEF ARE PROVIDED TO VICTIMS OF DISASTERS OR THOSE IN EMERGENCY HARDSHIP SITUATIONS SUCH AS THOSE CAUSED BY PANDEMICS, FLOODS, FIRES, RIOTS, STORMS OR SIMILAR LARGE-SCALE EVENTS. THE FOUNDATION WILL ALSO PROVIDE ASSISTANCE TO THOSE IN NEED DUE TO A SUDDEN ILLNESS, DEATH, ACCIDENT, VIOLENT CRIME OR OTHER EMERGENCY HARDSHIP.
