EDUCATES PARTNERS, LANDOWNERS, AND THOSE IN THE CONSERVATION COMMUNITY ON IDENTIFICATION, REPORTING, AND CONTROLLING INVASIVE PLANTS DURING VARIOUS SEASONS OF THE YEAR. PRISM ALSO PARTICIPATES AS A PARTNER/INSTRUCTOR IN LAND MANAGEMENT WORKSHOPS FOR CONSERVATION PROFESSIONALS AND PRIVATE LANDOWNERS.
INVASIVE PLANT CONTROL: BLUE RIDGE PRISM ASSISTS PUBLIC AGENCIES AND PRIVATE LANDOWNERS IN THE CONTROL OF SPECIFIC INVASIVE PLANTS. PRISM ALSO PARTNERS WITH THE USDA NATURAL RESOURCES CONSERVATION SERVICE AND THE VIRGINIA DEPARTMENT OF FORESTRY TO FUND INVASIVE CONTROL WORK ON PRIVATE LANDS IN OUR REGION.
