CARROLL TIMES HERALD WAS GIVEN TWO 2 GRANTS. ONE GRANT WAS FOR $20,000 ON 08 05 2022 THE SECOND GRANT WAS FOR $7,000 ON 11 30 2022. TOTAL GRANT AMOUNT TO CARROLL TIMES HERALD OF $27,000 IN 2022. BOTH GRANTS WERE GIVEN TO FURTHER THE MISSION OF WESTERN IOWA JOURNALISM FOUNDATION WIJF BY SUPPORTING REPORTING POSITIONS THAT WOULD EDUCATE INFORM AND ENGAGE RESIDENTS TO ENSURE LONG-TERM ACCESS TO ACCURATE LOCAL NEWS AND INVESTIGATIVE REPORTING IN WESTERN IOWA.
