SINGING RIVER GULFPORT IS A 130-BED, FULL-SERVICE, ACUTE CARE HOSPITAL, THAT OFFERS A WIDE ARRAY OF INPATIENT AND OUTPATIENT SERVICES TO MEET COMMUNITY HEALTHCARE NEEDS. ON OCTOBER 1ST, 2020, SINGING RIVER HEALTH SYSTEM ACQUIRED THE ASSETS OF THE HOSPITAL THAT BECAME SINGING RIVER GULFPORT. THE HEALTH SYSTEM ACQUIRED THE HOSPITAL TO EXPAND COVERAGE AREA, IN ORDER TO BETTER SERVE THE COMMUNITY. BEGINNING ON OCTOBER 1ST, 2020, SERVICES WERE EXPANDED SO THAT PATIENT ADMISSIONS INCREASED OVER 35%, SURGERIES INCREASED 38%, AND TOTAL DAYS OF CARE GREW BY 48% OVER THE PRIOR YEAR.
