OUR MISSION IS TO DISSEMINATE CLINICALLY PROVEN DIGITAL MENTAL HEALTH CARE TO IMPROVE THE MENTAL HEALTH OF THOSE LIVING IN MONTANA AND OTHER RURAL US REGIONS.

IMPLEMENTING SCHOOL-BASED MENTAL HEALTH SCREENING:RBHI HAS BEEN IMPLEMENTING A SCHOOL-BASED SUICIDE PREVENTION INTERVENTION: SCREENING LINKED TO CARE (SLTC). IN 2021, RBHI OFFERED SLTC TO ALL 6TH-12TH GRADE STUDENTS (88% WHITE, SIMILAR TO STATE DEMOGRAPHICS) IN 3 MONTANA COUNTIES (~8,300 POSSIBLE ADOLESCENTS). THE 3 COUNTIES HAVE HIGHER PROPORTIONS OF ADOLESCENTS REPORTING PAST-YEAR SUICIDE ATTEMPTS THAN THEIR MONTANA PEERS. RBHI ALSO DELIVERED SLTC IN SCHOOLS LOCATED IN OTHER MONTANA COUNTIES UPON REQUEST BY SCHOOLS. IN 2021, RBHI DELIVERED SLTC IN 7 SCHOOLS (4 COUNTIES).DIGITAL TREATMENT FOR ADULT DEPRESSION AND ANXIETY: SCHOOL STAFF ARE FACING UNPRECEDENTED STRESSORS DUE TO THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC: INCREASED PERSONAL HEALTH RISK, ON THE JOB TRAUMA, ECONOMIC STRAIN, AND INCREASED WORKLOADS. DEPRESSION AND ANXIETY RATES HAVE BEEN INCREASING AMONG ADULTS DUE TO THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC. WHEN A PERSON IS EXPERIENCING DEPRESSION OR ANXIETY, THEIR RELATIONSHIPS AND WORK MAY BE NEGATIVELY AFFECTED. IN PARK COUNTY, MONTANA, THERE ARE 358 SCHOOL STAFF, MANY OF WHOM MAY BE STRUGGLING WITH MENTAL HEALTH ISSUES DUE TO THE ADDITIONAL PRESSURES CAUSED BY THE PANDEMIC. IN 2021, RBHI OFFERED AN EVIDENCE-BASED INTERVENTION FOR ADULT DEPRESSION AND ANXIETY SYMPTOMS (THRIVE) FOR FREE TO ALL SCHOOL STAFF IN PARK COUNTY AS A TOOL FOR IMPROVING THEIR MENTAL WELLNESS.
