THE TENNESSEE INVESTOR FUND (TIF) IS A NON-PROFIT ADVOCACY ORGANIZATION DEDICATED TO SUPPORTING ORGANIZATIONS THAT CONDUCT RESEARCH, VOTER EDUCATION, ADVOCACY ON LEGISLATIVE AND ECONOMIC ISSUES, AND VOTER TURNOUT.

"RESEARCH (50%). TIF WILL SUPPORT OTHER NONPROFIT ORGANIZATIONS THAT CONDUCT RESEARCH TO DETERMINE HOW GROUPS RESPOND TO CURRENT POLICY ISSUES AND GATHER VOTER DATA TO DETERMINE WHAT PUBLIC POLICY ISSUES THE PUBLIC IS INTERESTED IN AND WILL TAKE ACTION. EDUCATION AND TURNOUT (50%). TIF WILL SUPPORT OTHER NONPROFIT ORGANIZATIONS THAT EDUCATE THE PUBLIC ON NATIONAL AND STATE POLICY AND LEGISLATIVE ISSUES SUCH AS IMMIGRATION, HEALTH, AND ENVIRONMENTAL POLICIES. TIF ANTICIPATES THAT IT WILL SUPPORT ORGANIZATIONS IN CONDUCTING SUCH PUBLIC EDUCATION THROUGH MEDIA STATEMENTS, POLICY INFORMATION PROVIDED ON THEIR WEBSITES, POLICY STATEMENTS, AND PUBLIC AWARENESS CAMPAIGNS. "
