GIRL BOSS - LAUNCH GURLS (LG) CREATES ENTREPRENEURIAL EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMMING ROOTED IN RESEARCH AND REALITY, DESIGNED FOR ADOLESCENT GIRLS AGES 12-24 IN SOUTHEAST ASIA AND AFRICA. IN 2022, LAUNCH GURLS IMPACTED OVER 3,800 GIRLS AGES 13-21 IN 13 COUNTRIES. LG PARTNERED WITH FOUR DIFERENT NONPRFITS AND GOVERNMENT INSTITUTIONS TO BUILD THEIR CAPACITY TO DELIVER OUR GIRL BOSS PROGRAMMING. WE SPENT TIME IN 2022 TRIANING PARTNERS AND MENTORS TO IMPLEMENT GIRO BOSS PROGRAMMING AND OWN THE DELPLIYEMENT OF THIS PROGRAMMING. WE PROVIDED CURRICULUM, TRAINING, MANAGEMENT TOOLS, IMPACT ASSESSMENT TO OUR PARNTERS. WE PROVIDED OUR PARTNER WITH THE CURRICULUM AND TOOLS TO IMPLEMENT OUR CURRENT PROGRAMS GIRL BOSS BASICS AND GIRL BOSS BUSINESS AND DEVELOPED THREE ADDITIONAL PROGRAMS: GIRL BOSS THRIVE, GIRL BOSS CLUBS, AND GIRL BOSS WORKSHOPS.
GIRL BOSS USA - LAUNCH GURLS WAS ORIGINALLY DEVELOPED GIRL BOSS PROGRAMMING FOR MARGINALIZED GIRLS WITH LIMITED ACCESS TO INTERNET AND TECHNOLOGY IN THE GLOBAL SOUTH, BUT A GRANT FROM DESCANTE CAPITAL ALLOWED THE TEAM TO ADAPT AND PILOT GIRL BOSS PROGRAMMING IN THE U.S. IN THE SUMMER AND FALL OF 2022, LAUNCH GURLS PILOTED GIRL BOSS PROGRAMMING WITH 84 STUDENTS AND 8 TEACHERS TRAINED AS GIRL BOSS ADVISORS (GBAS). 17 RISING 7-9TH GRADERS PARTICIPATED IN THE FIRST EVER GIRL BOSS BOOTCAMP AND 67 STUDENTS IN GRADES 5-8TH PARTICIPATED IN AND AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAM FOR GIRL BOSS BASICS. THE PILOT ULTIMATELY PROVED THE POWER OF LAUNCH GURLS PROGRAMMING AND ABILITY TO FILL A CURRENT NEED IN U.S. SCHOOLS. MANY SCHOOLS ARE FOCUSED ON OFFERING STEAM PROGRAMMING AND THERE IS A DEARTH OF ENTREPRENEURSHIP PROGRAMMING FOR GIRLS.
