THE APS FOUNDATION ADMINISTERS OVER 75 AGENCY FUNDS, 1 CHARITABLE TRUST FOR THE MUSIC DEPARTMENT, AND 1 PERMANENT ENDOWMENT TO SUPPORT THE SCHOOL NURSES VISION CARE FUND FOR ALBUQUERQUE PUBLIC SCHOOLS STUDENTS. NEARLY $600,000 IN FUNDS WAS DISTRIBUTED TO PROGRAMS THROUGH AGENCY ACCOUNTS MAINTAINED BY THE FOUNDATION.THE FOUNDATION AWARDED OVER $454,000 IN 68 GRANTS TO VARIOUS SCHOOLS AND DEPARTMENTS, WHICH BENEFITTED 26,000 STUDENTS THROUGHOUT THE DISTRICT. GRANT PROGRAMS FOCUSED ON INNOVATIVE APPROACHES TO ACADEMIC FOCUS AREAS AS WELL AS SOCIAL EMOTIONAL LEARNING AND OUT OF SCHOOL TIME PROGRAMMING.
