TO OPERATE A ONE CALL SYSTEM WITHIN THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO TO RECEIVE NOTIFICATION PRIOR TO EXCAVATION OR ANY ACTIVITY WHICH MAY DAMAGE UNDERGROUND UTILITY LINES, AND TO RELAY SUCH NOTIFICATION TO THE ORGANIZATION'S REGULAR MEMBERS. IN 2021, THE ONE CALL SYSTEM PROCESSED 187,268 TICKET REQUESTS FOR UTILITY LOCATION SERVICES AND 1,081,457 TICKET TRANSMISSIONS FOR ITS 652 MEMBER ORGANIZATIONS WITH UNDERGROUND UTILITIES.
TO SERVE THE PUBLIC INTEREST BY EDUCATING THE GENERAL PUBLIC, PROVIDING FREE SAFETY SEMINARS, AND OTHER EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS, AND MATERIALS TO TRAIN EXCAVATORS AND OTHERS ON DIG SAFETY. IN 2021, CONDUCTED 40 VIDEO TRAINING CLASSES DUE TO LIMITED TRAVEL RESULTING FROM THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC.
