THE ORGANIZATION WAS RE-PURPOSED IN 2014 BY ITS SPONSOR, ASSOCIATED GENERAL CONTRACTORS OF NM. IT GATHERS AND SHARES INDUSTRY RESOURCES FOR CAREER READINESS AND WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT INITIATIVES THAT BEST PREPARE UNDEREMPLOYED YOUTH AND COMMUNITIES OF ADULTS. THE GOAL REMAINS TO DIRECT & TRANSFORM CAREER-READY PROGRAMS THAT MEET BOTH EMPLOYER NEEDS AND WORKER OPPORTUNITIES. 2018 FOCUSED ON THE GALLUP MCKINLEY REGION THROUGH A PLANNING GRANT FUNDED BY W.K. KELLOGG FOUNDATION. THE WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT GOAL FOR THE GALLUP MCKINLEY REGION IS TO COMMUNICATE, CONNECT AND EMPLOY. THIS PARTNERSHIP IS RETHINKING THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN SCHOOLS, EMPLOYERS, BUSINESS LEADERS, GOVERNMENT OFFICIALS, EDUCATORS AND FAMILIES.
