EDUCATION PROGRAM: PROVIDE A HIGH QUALITY MONTESSORI EDUCATION PROGRAM TO CHILDREN. THE EDUCATIONAL PROGRAM STRIVES TO FOSTER A LIFE-LONG LOVE OF LEARNING AND ENCOURAGES STUDENTS TO EXCEL BY PROVIDING GUIDANCE AND THE FREEDOM TO DEVELOP CURRENT INTERESTS AND DISCOVER NEW IDEAS. A HIGH VALUE IS PLACED ON ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE, DIVERSITY AND SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY. IT IS IMPORTANT THAT THE PROGRAM BE FLEXIBLE IN ADDRESSING EACH CHILD'S DEVELOPMENTAL STAGE AND LEARNING STYLE AND IN PROMOTING INDEPENDENCE AND SELF-CONFIDENCE.
NUTRITIONAL PROGRAM: PROVIDE A BREAKFAST, SNACK, HOT LUNCH AND AFTERNOON SNACK PROGRAM FOR ALL CHILDREN ENROLLED AT GUADALUPE MOTESSORI SCHOOL. THE SCHOOL HAS ITS OWN KITCHEN IN WHICH WHOLESOME MEALS ARE PREPARED FROM THE BEST INGREDIENTS AVAILABLE, INCLUDING SEASONAL, ORGANIC VEGETABLES, FRESH FROM THE SCHOOL'S GARDEN.
SUMMER ENRICHMENT PROGRAM: PROVIDE A SUMMER ENRICHMENT PROGRAM TO AREA CHILDREN. SMALL WORKSHOP-STYLE SESSIONS PROVIDE ENGAGED EXPERIENCES IN TOPICS SUCH AS THEATRE, PUPPET MAKING, MUSIC, YOGA, FOREIGN LANGUAGES, ART, GARDENING, AND COOKING. SUMMER STAFF IS COMPRISED OF LOCAL COMMUNITY MEMBERS WHO ARE ENTHUSIASTIC AND EXPERIENCED IN WORKING WITH CHILDREN OF DIVERSE AGES.
