IN PARTNERSHIP WITH THE CALIFORNIA FOSTER YOUTH INITIATIVE AMERICORPS PROGRAM, C.A.R.E SERVICE SPECIALISTS (CSS) AND FOSTERING UNITY STAFF PROVIDE CHILD-CENTERED FAMILY-STRENGTHENING EDUCATION AND SUPPORT, RESOURCE NAVIGATION THROUGH COMMUNITY PARTNERSHIPS, AND MENTORING SERVICES. ALL FOSTERING UNITY SERVICES ARE AVAILABLE TO RELATIVE AND NON-RELATIVE FOSTER PARENTS, REUNIFYING BIOLOGICAL FAMILIES, CHILDREN AND YOUTH IN OUT-OF-HOME PLACEMENT, AND TRANSITION AGE YOUTH IN FOSTER CARE. THIS PROGRAM IS FREE AND FURTHERS OUR MISSION TO IMPROVE OUTCOMES FOR CHILDREN IN FOSTER CARE.
OUR FAMILY-CENTERED EVENTS INCLUDE THE FALL ON THE FARM PUMPKIN PATCH, AND THE WINTER WONDERLAND. THESE EVENTS FOSTER CREATIVITY, BLOSSOMING FRIENDSHIPS, AND NEW EXPERIENCES THAT LEAD TO CHERISHED MEMORIES. THIS PROGRAM IS FREE AND FURTHERS OUR MISSION TO IMPROVE OUTCOMES FOR CHILDREN IN FOSTER CARE. DURING THESE EVENTS AND THROUGHOUT THE YEAR, DONATED ITEMS AND RESOURCES ARE PROVIDED TO ALL ADOPTIVE, RELATIVE AND NON-RELATIVE FOSTER FAMILIES.
